The restaurant's name pays homage to one of our favorite aquatic birds commonly found at the resort and Upper Klamath Lake. You may even see these creatures flying past the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows.

Our resort features the beautiful, newly remodeled Sandhill Spa, which is a popular attraction for many guests. Offering massage, facials, body wraps, manicures, pedicures and more, Sandhill Spa is the perfect place to relax and renew after a day of outdoor adventures.
As an all-season resort, we are proud to offer seasonal activities for all guests to enjoy. In the summer, you can see amazing views of Klamath Lake with a guided horseback riding tour. Of course, any of the activities listed here can be replaced with on of the many activities we offer on and off property. What area tourist attractions might you recommend while in the area? The one must-see attraction in Klamath County is Crater Lake National Park. This natural gem located under an hour's drive from Running Y Ranch Resort has inspired people for generations with its encapsulating beauty. At its center sits the eponymous lake, the deepest in the United States, distinguished by its clarity and deep blue color.
In addition to Crater Lake National Park, Klamath Falls features many history museums, hiking and biking trails, fantastic boating, fishing, and hunting opportunities and bird watching as well as a zipline adventure with Crater Lake Zipline.
