What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
In typical Arnold Palmer fashion, the fairways are quite generous. The challenge lies in the greens. They are quick, and full of undulations that can easily be misread. If you study the green from your approach, you can usually see where the safest side to miss is. If you favor that side, you will have a great chance to escape with a good score.

Any recent changes to the golf course? Or any upcoming changes?
The course has gone through a bunker renovation over the last two years. Forty-five bunkers have been eliminated, and new sand has been installed in the remaining 78 bunkers.

Recent Awards or What You Are Most Proud About The Course?
We are simply proud to be associated with The King, Arnold Palmer. Mr. Palmer's legacy will live on forever and Running Y Ranch Resort will do our part to keep him smiling, wherever he may be.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Honestly, all eighteen holes are photo worthy. The beauty of each hole will take your breath away.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
My favorite hole changes regularly. Lately, hole number six is my favorite. It is the number one handicap hole on the course. It is a long, slightly uphill par four that is framed on both sides by large ponderosa pine trees. The green is severely sloped from left to right, but at first glance you do not realize how severe the slope is. It is always fun to watch people putt that green for the first time. It can make you look downright silly!

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
There is an amazing patio perched high above the back nine that provides stunning views of the property. It is the perfect spot to enjoy an Arnold Palmer, or you can take it up a notch and make it a John Daly!

For the traveling golfer, do you have lodging onsite or partner with any area hotels?
Accommodations at Running Y Ranch Resort include an 82-room Lodge as well as a large selection of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom vacation rentals.
In the Lodge, guests can choose from king guestrooms, double queen guestrooms, and one-bedroom suites. All guestrooms feature plush beds, flat screen TVs, complimentary WI-FI, and in many cases, decks or patios. They are the perfect place to relax after a day of golf.

The house is equipped with nine bedrooms, six bathrooms and a separate apartment unit that is available above the garage.

Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
The unofficial course record is held by our Head Golf Professional, Jaren Mack. He shot 61 from the Signature tees on 8/20/14. It was an amazing round that was highlighted by hitting into two hazards, missing two three-foot putts! The official tournament course record was shot by PGA tour pro Ben Crane. He posted a 64 in the Northwest Open in the early 2000's. He went on to win multiple titles on the PGA Tour.
